This policy explains how KhetOS handles the information you choose to use in the app and how to manage it. This website provides app information and support; it does not provide an online farm account or accept farm uploads.

Farm records on your phone

KhetOS stores farm details, plots, crop seasons, expenses, sales, payments, tasks, notes and photos you enter in private app storage. Core record keeping works offline. Your records may contain information about you or other people; only enter information you have permission to use.

You can export records and create ZIP backups. Copies you save or share outside the app are under your control. Farm records, photos and device secrets are excluded from Android automatic backup; explicit export and Google backup remain available.

Optional Google Drive backup

When you connect a Google account, KhetOS requests access to its private Google Drive app-data folder to list, upload, download or delete backups you select. Backups contain exported farm records and photos, exclude device signing keys and server credentials, and use your available Drive storage. Backup is user-triggered, not automatic live synchronization.

The connected account email, Drive owner identifier and backup status are stored locally. Short-lived authorization tokens stay in memory and are not sent to the KhetOS backend. Google processes authorization and storage under its own policies. KhetOS does not end-to-end encrypt these ZIP backups.

Disconnecting Google revokes the app’s Google access and removes local connection metadata while preserving existing farm records and cloud backups. Delete individual snapshots from the Google backup screen to remove cloud copies. Deleting local farm records does not automatically delete cloud backups or exports. You can also manage third-party access in your Google account.

Optional ads

Google ads are disabled until you enable them in settings and the applicable Google consent/privacy flow permits requests. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process identifiers, IP-derived location, app/device information, diagnostics and ad interactions under its own disclosures and your privacy choices. KhetOS does not add farm records, photos or connected Drive account information to ad requests.

Disabling ads removes the ad view but does not erase processing already performed by Google. Where applicable, Google ad privacy choices in settings let you revisit your preferences. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps using its services.

Weather, voice, photos and sensors

Weather features use a location you provide or permit to request weather from the configured service. Optional speech recognition and text-to-speech depend on your device and selected provider; an online recognition service may process spoken input. Photo and camera flows handle photos you choose. Sensor connections require explicit setup and can process device readings and connection information.

Optional configured server services

KhetOS supports an optional server connection for record/photo sync, backups and consent-based image analysis. These features transfer the records or selected photos needed for the operation to the server you configure. Seller requests and feedback can contain the details you choose to submit. Do not use an unfamiliar server endpoint.

Public farm-upload and analysis services are not provided by this website. If you configure a server, its operator controls server storage and retention. Use the app’s server-data deletion workflow for the configured connection, and contact that server’s operator if you need help with retained copies. Contact bdwithganesh at the email above for requests about a KhetOS-operated service you have used. Optional server features are separate from local records and Google Drive backup.

Permissions and your choices

Internet/network access supports connected features. Notifications support permitted reminders; photo/camera, speech and sensor permissions support features you choose. The advertising SDK adds advertising-related permissions, including Advertising ID. You may deny optional permissions and disable connected features.

For deletion instructions, see Data deletion. Disconnecting an account, removing local records and deleting cloud/export copies are separate actions. Make a backup before deliberately deleting records you need.

Website and support messages

This website uses Cloudflare Tunnel to serve public pages. Cloudflare processes requests and technical information such as IP addresses and security diagnostics to deliver and protect the website under Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. We do not add website advertising trackers, analytics scripts or login cookies.

If you email support, your email address and the information you include are handled to respond to the request. Email providers may process messages under their policies. Do not send passwords, Google tokens, API keys or unneeded farm/customer records. Support messages are retained while needed to resolve the request and maintain relevant support records; you can request deletion using the same support email.

Retention and security

Local records remain until you remove them, clear app data or uninstall, subject to copies you exported. Google snapshots remain until you delete them or Google applies its account/storage rules. Other configured servers follow their operator’s retention rules. App-private storage, scoped Google access, checksum checks and transactional restore help protect records; no system can guarantee protection against every loss or unauthorized access.

Children and changes

KhetOS is a farm record-keeping tool intended for farmers and farm operators, not a service directed to children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information to us.

We update this policy when relevant app features or data handling change. The effective date above identifies the current policy. For questions or privacy requests, contact [email protected].
